Amsterdam Coffee Festival

Terms and privacy policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

These conditions apply to every ticket, experience or merchandise bought for the Amsterdam Coffee Festival, for every edition. The dates, venue, times and ticket options for each edition are shown on the site and on the product page at the time of purchase and in your order confirmations.

Tickets and products on this website are sold by Coffee Ventures Europe Ltd, Serendipity House, 106 Arlington Road, London NW1 7HP, United Kingdom, company no. 14065481.

01

Tickets

Prices are in euros and include VAT. Booking fees are added to the displayed price and shown before payment.

Your purchase is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email.

Your ticket admits you according to the option you chose. Tickets are emailed to you after payment.

At the festival, show your ticket at the entrance, on your phone or printed. Each ticket admits one person and can be scanned once.

Trade tickets are for people who work in the coffee and hospitality industry, such as roasters, baristas, green coffee importers, café owners, consultants, facility managers and buyers. Please bring ID and a business card: we check both at the entrance and may refuse entry if you can't show them.

02

Your right to cancel

Dutch law gives consumers 14 days to cancel most online purchases without giving a reason.

This right does not apply to leisure services booked for a specific date or period (article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code). Festival tickets and bookable experiences are such services, so you cannot cancel them once your order is confirmed.

03

Refunds and transfers

Tickets and bookable experiences are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, including if you can't attend, arrive late or want to change your date or session.

Tickets are transferable. If you can't come, pass yours on to someone else free of charge; you don't need to tell us.

04

If the festival is cancelled, postponed or changed

If we cancel, you get the ticket price back. If we postpone, your ticket stays valid for the new dates; if those don't work for you, email info@amsterdamcoffeefestival.com within the period we announce and we'll refund you.

Booking fees are not refundable.

05

Bookable experiences

Workshops, tastings, masterclasses and other bookable experiences take place on the date and at the time shown on the product page. If you arrive late, we may not be able to admit you, and no refund is due.

If we cancel an experience, or move it and the new time doesn't work for you, we refund the full price you paid for it.

06

Drops and included items

Some tickets, known as drops, include one or more limited-edition items. What each drop contains is described on the product page at the time of purchase.

Unless the product page says otherwise, these items are collected at the festival by showing your festival ticket. They are not shipped, and can't be claimed after the festival ends.

Items are made in limited quantities and are not returnable, exchangeable or refundable separately from the ticket.

If an item can't be produced or delivered, we will tell you as soon as possible and offer a comparable item of at least the same value.

Sizes, colours and images are indicative and may differ slightly from the final product.

07

Programme

The programme, speakers and exhibitors may change. Changes don't entitle you to a refund. We publish updates on the website.

08

On site

Please follow the venue rules and the instructions of our staff and security team. We may refuse entry, or ask someone to leave, without a refund, for unsafe, aggressive or discriminatory behaviour, or for not following safety instructions.

Children under 14 get in free of charge, but must be accompanied by an adult.

We don't sell or serve alcohol to anyone under 18. Staff may ask for ID, and won't serve you without it.

09

Photography, filming and your data

We take photographs and film at the festival and may use them in our communications. If you'd rather not appear, tell the team on site or email us, and we will respect that where we can.

We use the personal data you give us when you buy to process your order and run the festival. Our explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

10

Questions and complaints

Email info@amsterdamcoffeefestival.com. We reply within 7 working days. If we need longer, we'll tell you when you can expect a full answer. Dutch law applies.

Photos and filming at the festival

Our photographers and film crew capture the festival, so you may appear in photos or video.

Crowd and atmosphere shots. Wide shots of busy halls, stands and talks, where people are not the focus. We use these on our website, social media and in promotion for future editions.

Close-ups, portraits and interviews. We only take and use these with your permission, which our crew will ask for on the spot.

Children. We avoid taking recognisable photos of children. If we would like to use one, we ask the parent or guardian with them for permission.

Don’t want to be photographed? Tell the photographer or crew member at any time.

We keep festival photos and video in our archive for 5 years to promote future editions.

04

Why

To sell you a ticket and deliver it, to tell you if something about the festival changes, to send you news if you asked for it, to meet our accounting and tax obligations, and to understand how the site is used.

Our legal bases are performance of the contract for ticketing and competitions, your consent for news and non-essential cookies, legal obligation for accounting, and our legitimate interest for festival photos, enquiries, volunteers, exhibitors and surveys.

05

Who has access

Our suppliers, only for what they do for us: Easol, which hosts our site and runs ticketing, together with its payment provider; Dotdigital, which sends our newsletters and feedback surveys; and Typeform, which receives exhibitor leads and volunteer applications.

We never sell your data.

Some of these suppliers may process data outside the European Union. In that case, we use the safeguards the GDPR requires.
