Amsterdam Coffee Festival (Coffee Ventures Europe) - Terms and conditions
Terms of Sale
Amsterdam Coffee Festival. Applies to every edition and to every purchase on amsterdamcoffeefestival.com. Last updated: 19 October 2026.
These terms apply when you buy anything from us on this website: admission tickets, ticket packages, bookable experiences, drops and merchandise. The dates, venue, times and contents for each edition and each product are shown on the product page at the time of purchase and in your order confirmation.

2. Prices and payment
Prices are in euros and include VAT. The price shown for each ticket or item includes every fee you have to pay for it. If a compulsory charge applies once per order, it is shown clearly next to the price from the start of your order.
You pay in full when you order. Your purchase is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email.
3. Tickets
We email your order confirmation and tickets after payment. Please check them and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.
Your ticket admits you according to the option you chose.
Show your ticket at the entrance, on your phone or printed. Each ticket admits one person and can be scanned once.
Trade tickets are for people who work in the coffee and hospitality industry, such as roasters, baristas, green coffee importers, café owners, consultants, facility managers and buyers. Please bring ID and a business card: we check both at the entrance and may refuse entry if you can't show them.
4. Your right to cancel (withdrawal)
Tickets and bookable experiences. Dutch law gives consumers 14 days to cancel most online purchases without giving a reason. This right does not apply to leisure services booked for a specific date or period (article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code). Festival tickets and bookable experiences are such services, so you cannot cancel them once your order is confirmed.
5. Refunds, exchanges and transfers
Tickets and bookable experiences are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, including if you can't attend, arrive late or want to change your date or session. Your rights in sections 6 and 7 still apply.
Tickets are transferable. If you can't come, pass yours on to someone else free of charge; you don't need to tell us. Tickets may not be resold, not even at face value. Only buy tickets from this website or from official partners we name, as we can't guarantee tickets bought elsewhere.
6. If the festival is cancelled, postponed or significantly changed
Cancelled. If we cancel the festival, or a day you hold a ticket for, we refund everything you paid for that ticket, including booking or service fees.
Postponed. If we move the festival to new dates, your ticket stays valid for them. If the new dates don't work for you, email us within the period we announce and we will refund you in full, including fees.
Significantly changed. If we change the city or venue, or substantially reduce what your ticket includes, you can choose a refund in the same way.
We may also offer an alternative, such as a voucher or a ticket for another date. You never have to accept it instead of a refund. We pay refunds to your original payment method within 30 days. We are not responsible for other costs, such as travel or accommodation, unless the law says otherwise.
7. Bookable experiences
Workshops, tastings, masterclasses and other bookable experiences take place on the date and at the time shown on the product page. If you arrive late, we may not be able to admit you, and no refund is due.
If we cancel an experience, or move it and the new time doesn't work for you, we refund the full price you paid for it.
8. Drops and included items
Some tickets, known as drops, include one or more limited-edition items. What each drop contains is described on the product page at the time of purchase.
You collect these items at the festival by showing your ticket. They are not shipped.
Items are made in limited quantities and may be limited per customer. Photos show the design; small differences in colour or finish may occur, but the item will match its description. If an item is faulty or not as described, tell us and you keep your statutory rights (section 9).
If an item can't be produced or delivered, we will tell you as soon as possible and offer a comparable item of at least the same value. If you don't want the replacement, we refund the value of that item as stated on the product page.
9. Merchandise
We don't deliver merchandise. You collect it at the festival by showing your festival ticket.
Everything we sell must match its description and work as you may reasonably expect. If it doesn't, you have the right to a repair or replacement, and in some cases a price reduction or refund. Tell us within a reasonable time after you notice the problem.
10. Programme
The programme, speakers and exhibitors may change. Minor changes don't entitle you to a refund. We publish updates on the website.
11. At the festival
Please follow the venue rules and the instructions of our staff and security team. We may refuse entry, or ask someone to leave, without a refund, for unsafe, aggressive or discriminatory behaviour, or for not following safety instructions.
Children under 14 get in free of charge, but they must be accompanied by an adult.
We don't sell or serve alcohol to anyone under 18. Staff may ask for ID, and won't serve you without it.
12. Photography, filming and your data
We take photographs and film at the festival and may use them in our communications. If you'd rather not appear, tell the team on site or email us, and we will respect that where we can.
We use the personal data you give us when you buy to process your order and run the festival. Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
13. Questions and complaints
Email info@amsterdamcoffeefestival.com. We reply within 7 working days. If we need longer, we'll tell you when you can expect a full answer.
If we can't resolve your complaint, you can take it to court. As a consumer, you can do this in the country where you live.
14. Business purchases
If you buy as a business, for example trade tickets for your team, these terms also apply. Rights that the law gives only to consumers do not apply to business purchases.
15. Applicable law and changes to these terms
Dutch law applies. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country.
We may update these terms for future editions. The version published on the day of your order applies to that order.
