FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

+ WeCup
Why is ACF choosing to use reusable cups?
“At the festival, ACF is committed to reducing the amount of single-use products. That's why we've partnered with WeCup to introduce a system that promotes reusability, helping us enjoy our coffee while minimising our impact on the environment.”

How does the system with the reusable cups function?
“The system for using the WeCup reusable cups is quite simple. It's very similar to using disposable cups, with one key difference: instead of throwing the cup away, you just need to place it in designated bins located throughout the festival grounds.”

Do I need to pay for the cup?
“Yes, there is a €1 fee for using the cup. The good news is that you can still use the WeCup for coffee-to-go even after the festival. Plus, if you return the cup (200ml) at any WeCup location, you'll get €1 back.”

Where do I get the WeCup?
“All stands have WeCups available. You'll receive the cup along with your first coffee at the festival.”

Am I allowed to take a WeCup home with me?
“Certainly! Festival-goers are welcome to bring one 200ml WeCup home with them. If you prefer not to do so, simply deposit the cup(s) in one of the designated WeCup bins.”

Is it also possible to get my €1 back?
“For sure! WeCup works closely with cafés all across the Netherlands. You can simply bring in your cup (200ml) and receive a refund of €1. For click here for a complete list of locations.”

What makes the WeCup sustainable?
“The sustainability of the WeCup is attributed to its use of polypropylene (PP) granules, a robust and long-lasting material. This means that each cup can be utilised for several years within the WeCup re-use deposit system. Eventually, when a cup reaches the end of its lifespan, it can be fully recycled as WeCups are 100% recyclable.”
