With an international perspective and a fresh, unique format, this leading tournament brings together the best coffee roasters from Europe for the second time, putting them to the ultimate test.
Across three days, eighteen of Europe's most renowned coffee roasters compete for the coveted Roast Masters title. In a dynamic, live setting, where visitors can encourage their favourite participants up close, the roasters compete side-by-side in three disciplines: roasting coffee, blending espresso and preparing a pour over coffee.
Roast Masters is the ultimate test of skills, professional knowledge and commercial applicability - A unique opportunity to excel under the watchful eye of important industry players, an international audience, and not to mention a panel of prominent jury members.
Who will follow in the footsteps of white label coffee, the first ever Roast Masters?!

With great delight we can announce the eighteen roasters to compete in the second Amsterdam Roast Masters competition.

Completing the three-tier Steam Box Set, Slayer’s Steam LP was created principally with the professional barista and their technical needs in mind.
With two settings per group, advanced dual volumetrics, classic pump driven extraction, a huge work surface, not forgetting its sleek, polished stainless steel body with unmistakable winged design, it’s little surprise the Steam LP has come to be known as the ‘dream machine’.

For the Espresso Blend discipline, the roasters bring their own coffee, but for the Single Origin round, all roasters receive 5 kg of the same green coffee one month before the competition. This year's competition coffee is provided by Trabocca, our brand new coffee partner. A washed Guji-1 coffee from the Suke Quto Farm in Ethiopia, Trabocca describes the coffee as "complex, elegant, citric, floral and exceptionally sweet."
